Michelle Morris produced several award-winning features and shorts, most recently, RED SNOW (director: Marie Clements).

RED SNOW has won numerous awards including Most Popular Canadian Feature at the Vancouver IFF and Best Canadian Feature at Edmonton IFF. It toured internationally winning awards at the American Indian FF and LA Skins Fest before releasing theatrically across Canada. It was the first feature in CBC’s history to be aired in prime time entirely in an Indigenous language.

Morris is a Board Member of CMPA’s BC Branch and a 1st AD member of the Directors Guild. She holds a BFA from York University, a master’s from Staffordshire University (UK) and is an Adjunct Professor at UBC.

Ana de Lara is a Filipina-Canadian actor and stand-up comic turned filmmaker, who has won over 30 accolades for her films and screenplays in North America and Europe.

She wrote, directed, and produced a number of award-winning short films. GOOD GIRLS DON'T, won 14 festival prizes, including Best Director at Broad Humor FF; the Spirit Award at Reel Sisters of the Diaspora FF; Best Comedy and Best Screenplay at Asians on Film; and the Matrix Award at Vancouver Women in Film IFF.

De Lara has also produced two features, ALL-IN MADONNA and OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS, which earned her nominations, respectively, for the 2020 CMPA Emerging Producer Award and the 2020 Best Picture Leo Award.

Anita Reilly McGee wrote/directed the award winning NFB documentary SEVEN BRIDES FOR UNCLE SAM, produced the Gemini award-winning drama CLOTHESLINE PATCH for CBC and, in 2003, directed her first feature THE BREAD MAKER, which debuted at TIFF.

Her films have screened in prestigious festivals including the Venice Biennale, TIFF, Sydney, Creteil and Palm Springs. Her short films boast a string of awards including Honorable Mention at the Creteil Film Festival, Best Short at Cinequest and the Runner Up for the BAFTA/LA short film award.

McGee has also produced and line produced several low-budget feature films and the MPPIA winning short film GOOD GIRLS DON’T.
